Treating Stains and Routine

Scrubs can come into contact with stubborn stains such as blood, medication, bodily fluids, and ink. Treating these stains before washing can make them easier to remove and help prevent them from setting into the fabric.

Blood stains: Rinse the area with cold water, then apply hydrogen peroxide or a saltwater solution before washing. Avoid hot water, as it can cause the stain to set.

Medication stains: Apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol or dish soap to help loosen the stain before laundering.

Bodily fluid stains: Create a paste using baking soda and water, apply it to the affected area, and allow it to sit briefly before washing.

Ink stains: Gently blot the stain with rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer before placing the garment in the wash.
